Internet Connectivity and Bandwidth
We host your web site in a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) located in bandwith-rich San Francisco. This location was carefully chosen to have a connection with every national ISP (Intenet Service Provider) and major NAPs (Network Access Points). Direct fast multiple OC-3 and DS-3 fiber connections with PAIX, PacBell/IGN, PacBell NAP and Mae West provide available bandwidth of over 540Mbs.
Web Servers
Web sites are housed on custom built web servers running Red Hat Linux. All servers are equiped with Intel processors, fast SCSI hard drives, at least 256 MB of memory and professional rackmount cases with superb cooling. Servers are connected to the routers and firewalls using 100 Mbps category 5 cables.
Network
Operations Center
The Network Operations Center is equipped with UPS (uninterruptible power supply), climate control systems and is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. UPS protects both servers and connection in case of power problems, maintaining connectivity and preserving service during any power outages.
