Since 1992, EDG has been providing software development and systems consulting services to clients in the Columbus, Ohio area. We began developing client-server database applications for functions such as inventory tracking, membership management, and automated document production.

In 1995, we added web site development to our line of services, and grew to serve clients across the country with Internet and intranet technology as our primary focus. Our specialties have evolved into:

However, several general approaches to system development apply:

Extensibility and flexibility. Source code for custom modules is supplied to allow for future modifications by other developers, if necessary. Customized modules are constructed using one of the many popular and proven languages used for web development, like Perl, Java, and PHP. Application logic in these modules is separated from presentation in HTML templates, allowing non-programming users to modify text, graphics, and most other aspects of page layout and appearance.
